The Prompt (AI Today): Expert debate on the state of AI and if current LLMs provide a path to AGI

TechTV’s inaugural debate for our groundbreaking AI programme ‘The Prompt’ looks into AI and examines the doubts being raised about this controversial technology.

In discussion with some of the world’s leading experts in computing, business and AI from the UK and the US we look at the massive issues that must be solved with AI to make it work and pop the hype that is confusing the AI picture.

Our panel, former high-level UK and European Government adviser Neil Barrett, London School of Economics Emeritus Professor Leslie Wilcocks, one the world’s leading experts on business technology adoption, and AI innovator and prodigy Tarique Mustafa, of Chorology make sense of the confusion.

In an insightful discussion, chaired by technology author and journalist Peter Warren, TechTV’s expert panel dissected the claims being made by the marketeers about the technology and pointed out that it faces many challenges before it can make good on its promise.

TechTV hosts Bill Mew and Pete Warren focus on:
