Brief Highlights from Infosecurity Europe
Cybersecurity and The AI Arms Race - Tech TV reporting from Infosecurity Europe and Cohesity Catalyst London
The TechTV team held a host of interviews at Infosecurity Europe 2026, and the same blunt question came up time and again. In the arms race between cyber attackers and cyber defenders, who is winning? And we had a range of different answers, all the way from Sentinel One’s Chris Hosking, who was very, very positive:
to Threat Aware’s Jon Abbott, who sounded the alarm bells.
In explaining the AI arms race, many of those that we interviewed referred to Mythos as a potential example of how AIs automating cybersecurity to help both attackers and defenders find vulnerabilities at machine speed.
And beneath the AI headlines, the same hard-nosed messages reoccurred.
Firstly, the basics still matter most, and humans are still essential.
Secondly, are there too many point solutions, and is there too little integration, making complexity as much of a challenge as cyberdefense itself?
And finally, is vibe coding quietly building vulnerabilities and problems for the future?
In the next few weeks, we will be bringing programs to air on many of these topics, but in the meantime, our focus is already moving on to the next big event, which is Cohesity’s Catalyst London on June the 22nd. Here to tell you about it, is James Blake.
And there’s still an opportunity to register for this event, so please go to the QR code link here.
See you all soon.
